Racing for Heroes at ROTB 2014
Here is your chance to support the military at the Joint Forces Training Base through the Southland Credit Union Los Alamitos Race on the Base event. The City of Los Alamitos is collecting donations that will be collected and donated along with matching funds up to $10,000 with the funds raised through this effort. The JFTB Morale, Welfare & Recreation is a network of support and leisure services designed for use by soldiers (Active, Reserve, and Guard), their families, civilian employees, military retirees and other eligible participants. They support the Race on the Base and we want to support them. Donate today!
For 2014, the Race on the Base 10K Run, 5K Walk and Run, 10K Skate/Handcycle/Wheelchair, Mission: 1K Kids Run, Jr. Reverse Triathlon, and Reverse Triathlon is reaching out to the entire community in an effort to raise awareness and money for charity. This year we're making it easier than ever to let all of our athletes, volunteers and supporters get involved and help make a difference.
The Race on the Base has partnered with Crowdrise to encourage the entire community to unite and fundraise for their favorite charities in 2014. Just imagine the impact the entire community can have when harnessed to give back in a fun and compelling way!
